I like that game.
I like my score. :]
I got 1027m on the rainy game. :D
Not the hardest game ever
I have played much harder. Games that you would shit your pants on after the first 2 screens. Come back with "the hardest game ever" after you play I wanna be the Guy.
That was awesome
I'm immidiately telling my friends about this. I can't agree with every single thing in there, but the majority seems kinda right. lol :D
Tons of fun!
I seriously loved this game. The choice of music was amazing. The sync with this game was almost perfect. The graphics were great, but could have been a tiny bit more dynamic.
To tell you the truth, I really didn't like the previous version of this game that much, but this just blows it out of the water!
I liked the song. It was kinda weird but for some reason matched the game.
The graphics were sub par, but I mean they worked I guess.
The gameplay was kindof luck based. If you were on one side and the jump was all the way over to the other side then it was impossible. Super jump worked well enough, but the normal jump was just a tad to low I guess.
I loved this
Very well done. I liked the setting and music, because it added to the gameplay. Good job!
Best NG game since Alien Homonid?
This game is wonderful! The timing is synced great. The idea is original. The artwork is fantastic. I could go on forever about this. Seriously you should contact someone over at Microsoft and get this game on XBox Live arcade!
If you don't win the rock out contest I would shit my pants.
I know making this might have been hard
but the sync wasn't perfect, and if a rythme game doesn't have perfect sync then there is no reason to play it. I am sorry if thats harsh, but seriously if a note is half a second to soon then that ruins the experience. (and I play rythme games a LOT so I know what I am talking about.)
Umm... Really, none of the notes are actually faster or slower than the song. It's all done and rechecked upon. Perhaps you thought it was a different time to press it?
By the way, I made a lot of rhythm games, so I would know what I'm saying too...
Could have been a little more than what it was, but I like it. Maybe if you do something like this again, you could add more variety to the movement patterns. I thought it was going to get really crazy and awesome when the blue squares started shooting out from the bottom and boomeranging back up, but it repeated after that instead of elaborating and becoming a perfect 10/10.
One question though, and I would really appriciate if you could pm me or reply to this question. How do you get the shapes to pulse in size with the music? Did you animate it yourself and just guess and check with the beat? I have been wanting to do something like this for some time now.
